I’ve been telling stories since I was six years old, when I wrote my first book, The Snake. What began as childhood imagination has evolved into a lifelong pursuit; one I’ve shaped and sharpened within the world of entertainment.
My work is often rooted in family, with intimate, emotional, grounded in the real world, but threaded with speculative elements that ask a simple, powerful question: What if?
When a meteorite lands in the coastal town of Margate, England, it reveals mysterious advancements that could propel humanity into the next century. Sarah Keate, a BBC reporter, leads the story, but when the United States Government takes control of the area, it brings unforeseen challenges. Sarah defies government interference and chooses to pursue the truth, continuing to report on the alien relic. However, when it’s discovered that Sarah has a connection to the meteorite, she is forced to help decode the knowledge sent from beyond.
Meanwhile, a self-proclaimed prophet partners with a local militia to reclaim the town from the government’s control. Tensions rise and a stand-off occurs between the townspeople and the military, leading to chaos and violence as locals fight for what they have built. As the conflict continues, it becomes clear that if the townspeople can’t have what they have created, no one can.
The only question that remains is… who sent it?
In the aftermath of Foundling’s explosive finale, Sarah and Colonel Jackson set aside their differences and form an uneasy alliance. United by a shared purpose, they commit to returning what was discovered inside the meteorite to its rightful resting place, a mission that could change everything.
But the journey is anything but straightforward. Powerful government forces move in the shadows, determined to stop them and bury the truth for good. As the pressure mounts and loyalties are tested, Sarah and Jackson find themselves racing not just against time, but against an agenda far bigger than they imagined.
When they finally trace the mysterious relic back to its origin, Sarah is confronted with an impossible choice, one that will alter the course of her life and the fate of humanity itself. It becomes clear: it’s her… or the survival of the planet.
Caught in the crosshairs of history, what will she choose?
